“To live in Venice  or even to visit it means that you fall in love with the city itself. There is nothing left over in your heart for anyone else”(Peggy Guggenheim)

I would like to bring Venice back to life through my tours in all its splendour and grandeur to allow visitors to enjoy and appreciate how extraordinary this unique city is.

My background

I studied art history at Ca’ Foscari University  here in Venice. After my degree I worked in France, in a contemporary art museum and I also lived in New York City for a period.

In 2009 I passed the examinations to become a tour manager and an authorized tourist guide. Thanks to my job I can share my knowledge and passion for art history, literature and the culture of my country and of this extraordinary city: Venice!

My advice

Venice is an  open air museum: any district you choose you will have the opportunity to discover wonderful things and views .

Among my favourites there are the districts of Cannaregio and Castello: they offer the chance  of an immersion in the history, art and daily life of  Venice at the times of the Republic.

At  the same time you will learn about Venice today, as these districts are off the beaten tracks and the areas where Venetians still live.
